Founder’s Project Portfolio, Pre-Establishment
This belief in the power of engineering was forged in the heat of some of our region’s most critical infrastructure challenges. Before the full maturity of MADKOUR Holding, I was privileged to lead teams that delivered nine major power generation assets, setting new benchmarks for fast-track execution and technical precision. In 2015, I orchestrated the delivery of the Attaqa 650 MW Simple Cycle project in a worldwide record of just 6 months, establishing what would become our defining fast-track methodology.
That same year,
the Mahmoudia 330 MW Simple Cycle was executed in an 8-month timeframe, cementing a reputation for mobilizing complex teams under extreme schedule pressure. On the regional stage, the PP-12 2,320 MW Combined Cycle project in Saudi Arabia demonstrated our capacity to manage massive EPC complexity and set a high standard for regional coordination, while the Diwaneya 500 MW project in Iraq was delivered as a key joint venture partner, underscoring our commitment to collaborative engineering in challenging environments. Al Ain El Sokhna 1,300 MW undertaking—a 36-month EPC+F program—showcased proficiency in financial and technical integration, and the Banha 750 MW Combined Cycle saw the precise direction of mechanical Balance of Plant works, integrating high-efficiency technology at scale.
Earlier, in 2014,
the Nubaria 750 MW project was spearheaded on a tight 8-month schedule, proving our ability to execute mission-critical scopes within large utility programs. In 2012, the Abu Qir 6 & 7 (2×650 MW) facility demanded comprehensive electrical and mechanical BOP leadership across a combined 1,300 MW installation, showcasing depth in system interconnections. And as far back as 2011, the Cameroon 40 MW Emergency Plant—an international EPC+F engagement delivered in just 6 months—demonstrated the ability to navigate unique regulatory landscapes far from home.

and hands-on mastery gained through those defining years, Dr. Mostafa Madkour channeled a rare caliber of technical and executive expertise into building MADKOUR Holding from the ground up — establishing a regional powerhouse in a remarkably short time. Today, we have successfully scaled that fast-track mentality across a portfolio of over 230 projects, evolving into a truly holistic infrastructure powerhouse. Our expertise now spans the entire development lifecycle: from advanced Energy solutions — including power generation, renewable energy, and power transmission & distribution — to comprehensive Infrastructure, covering agriculture and land reclamation, water and wastewater systems, smart mobility and transportation, and complex civil construction, including roads, bridges, and special buildings. We have bridged the speed of our origins with the integrated, multi-sector scale of the present.
